Medieval objects are fascinating as here in the UK we have many records recording events during the Medieval period.

Important silver hawking ring (vervel) has the crest of the Hansard family and inscription which reads SR.WIL.HANSARD.

Found at Biscathorpe, Lincolnshire, Sir William Hansard of Biscathorpe was a benefactor of Caistor Grammar School in Lincolnshire, and of the same family who chronicle parliament, he died in 1631.
